Stories in Cl@ss



We saw 3 tools in class that were really nice: Story Bird, Story Jumper and Zoo Burst. I think kids will enjoy these the most, but some adults might like it as well. These tools can have several uses. We can give some input by telling stories in English or having students read them.  We can also teach a specific grammar point, such as Simple Past or the future forms, by writing some examples as part of the story.

Both tools are nice, but I liked Zoo Burst best because of the fact that it has a pop-up book format, which makes it really nice and because you can up-load your own pictures or others you find on the Internet. Just that option opens a lot of possibilities for students to create or talk about their life. It also had nicer backgrounds and more resources than the others. Story Bird and Story Jumper were really nice as well, but sometimes you cannot do what you want with the resources that are available there.
